Ghanaian musician, Frank Afrane, affectionately known as Okese1 has reacted to rumors being circulated in the country about his main source of income being his involvement in fraudulent activities and not his music.

Speaking in an interview with the lifestyle & celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Okese1 intimated that his main source of income has been his music career and nothing else.
The “Na Today” hitmaker also stated that his most viral song opened a lot of opportunities and made him a lot of income and the amount he made from that song alone is beyond his imagination.
He also added that he invests a lot into his music brand and manages his craft on his own, hence whatever income it yields comes directly to him and he needs not to share any percentage with any label or company.

In other news, celebrated Ghanaian actress and outspoken socialite, Lydia Forson has lamented that the desolations of the country are about to be worsened with regard to the current economic instability in the country.
In a tweet, Lydia Forson who has constantly berated the Akufo Addo-led government over its incompetence stated that she fears for the future of the country given the current woes of the economy.
She stated that the citizens have lost trust in the leaders of the country due to how they continue to squander and misuse the nation’s funds for their own interests.
She added that solutions that might be in possession of the leaders to help save the country from its predicaments will be meted with resistance because the citizens have lost trust in the leaders of the country.
She wrote; My fear is that our country is really broke,and until something is done immediately things are about to get even worse. But we don’t trust our leaders due to how they continue to spend our money;so solution they may have to save our economy will be met with resistance.
