Shatta Wale has jabbed popular Nigerian musician Wizkid in an interview with Kasapa FM, saying he doesn’t see anything special about although the latter claims he’s the best in Africa.
The controversial Ghanaian musician also said he finds it irritating that Ghanaians hold their colleague musicians from Nigeria in high esteem, especially when they are around Wizkid.
He’s of the opinion that Ghanaians should respect themselves and make money out of their craft instead of over-hyping these ‘ordinary’ Nigerian musicians.
He said:
I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste.
