“I don’t really see the big deal in Ghanaian artistes using Nigerian words in their songs, and vice versa. We are all Africans“, she said.

In other news, Ghanaian showbiz pundit, Emmanuel Bance, widely known as Mr. Logic has reacted to claims made by the Electoral Commission that the Ghana Card will be required during the 2024 elections.

Dr. Bossman Asare, the Deputy Chairman of the Electoral Commission (EC) in charge of Corporate Services stated that Ghanaians must ensure getting their Ghana cards as it will be the only requirement for voting for the next general elections.

Speaking in an interview on JoyNews, Dr. Bossman stated that the Electoral Commission together with its partners decided on making the Ghana card the main requirement for the next general elections in 2024.

“So what this means is that as soon as you acquire your Ghana card with a continuous registration, you just go to our district office where you are located then you go and register and your name will be put on the roll of voters‘, he said.

“So that as soon as you turn 18 then you present it to the registration officer then instantly you are going to be registered,” he added.

In reaction to this, Mr. Logic disagreed with the commission’s decision to make the Ghana Card the only requirement for voting in 2024.
