Prior to the 2020 Ghana general elections, some popular men of God predicted the outcome.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie and Prophet Badu Kobi said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, former President John Dramani Mahama will win while Rev Owusu Bempah predicted a victory for President Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

At the end of the contest, Nana Akufo-Addo emerged victorious, securing a second term at the expense of Mahama, who is set to contest the results in court after citing irregularities.
However, Cantankerous Prophet Nicholas Osei who is well-known as Kumchacha has slammed the prophets who predicted the outcome of the elections, calling them “uncivilized”.

He advised the prophets to focus on preaching the word of God to save souls instead of dividing Ghanaians.
“Jesus and His disciples only talked about God’s kingdom. They were not competing among themselves as is being done today with NDC-NPP prophecies,” said Kumchacha on Peace FM.
