This Beautiful Nigerian Lady Called Off Her Wedding For This Reason

Weddings mean so much to women but sometimes when the gloss which hovers around it seems tainted, it’s best not to get involved.

That is exactly what this woman, identified as Zippy did and her point is very valid. The beautiful lady took to social media to announce that she called off her wedding because her man beat her up mercilessly.

Zippy revealed further that the beatings she received at her hands were so severe that she was taken to the hospital to be treated.

The light-skinned mother of one stated that she had to stay strong for her daughter even though she felt broken.

Zippy who took to Twitter to share her story, added that his family members tried to shut her up. She stated that his father had asked her not to tell her friends and family what had happened to her.

She wrote:

He beat me up last weekend. Beat me like a dog my parents had to come get me from the hospital . I felt so broken but staying strong for my daughter

I felt like I was being pushed to keep this thing a secret. That I should be ashamed that it happened to me. There’s no way to adequately describe the nightmare I was living in that moment.

When I was released from hospital his dad wanted us to go discuss the issue and how to resolve it. Mind you I could barely walk. His mother said I was blaming her son. My parents stood for me throughout this nightmare.
