A Twitter user has sparked a very heated and controversial debate hitting on some musicians in Ghana and their ‘stolen western style’ saying that can never win a Grammy award for Ghana.

The fan sharing a video of a documentary of a ‘Highlife’ song made in the 70s said this is the type of music that Ghanaian musicians should focus on doing rather than ‘copying’ the style of the Western world if they want to win a Grammy award.
He also mentioned an artist like the multi-talented musician and instrumentalist Worlasi for his consistency in promoting the Ghanaian culture through his music.
