Popular Nigerian nightlife executive, Cubana Chief Priest has expressed sorrow over the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of singer, Davido.

In a statement posted on his Instagram Stories, the socialite and bartender wrapped his mourning in the well-known Bible verse that states that God gives and takes at his discretion.

He further explained the significance of “Ifeanyi” and said that only God is actually able to save everyone who has been affected by this great loss. He reckoned that the world is full of pain presently.

In his post, he wrote:

“Chukwu Wetere. Chukwu Ewerele. Odi Chukwu Mma. Odikwa Anyi Mma

Ifeanyi Chukwu Ifeanyi chineke Onweghi Ihe Na Anyi Chukwu Na Ezia Na Ezia!!!

Ifeanyi Chukwu means

There is nothing bigger than God to do. God will surely fix us. God is our only back up in this world of so much pain.”

Ifeanyi, according to Nation Scoops, perished in a pool at Davido’s residence in Banana Island, Lagos State.

After the tragedy, the child was reportedly taken by ambulance to a neighboring hospital, where his demise was verified.

A close source claims that Davido’s baby mama, Chioma Rowland told the police that he fed Ifeanyi and then left him with his nanny, but the nanny afterwards claimed that she mistakenly believed the 3-year-old was with the chef after she couldn’t find him for a while.

According to the close source, Davido nearly lost his mind as he behaved abnormally at home.
