A video is currently making rounds on social media which captures the moments a ‘trotro’ mate and a passenger exchanged fists over GHC1.

Details from the incident have it that the female passenger refused to pay the required fare, claiming that she boarded the bus from a very short distance. thus she will not be paying what the mate requested.
This infuriated the mate and both engaged in a verbal assault as they spew toxic words to each other with the female passenger describing the mate as wretched and a desperate fool.
After few minutes of argument, the lady handed out a Ghc2 note to the lady and requested for her balance. The mate refused to give her the balance as their verbal feud escalated to a physical fight.
The mate tried to punch the female passenger in the face and she also retaliated with a bite. The two continued to rain insults on each other and tried to hit each other.
The driver even had to intervene for peace to prevail. He asked his mate to let go of the woman so she can alight but the mate refused as he demanded his money.
Other passengers present on the bus did nothing but stare as one of them records the entire incident. The fight was separated by some outsider who seems not to be pleased with how the lady was being treated by the mate as they force the mate to get down for the lady to alight.
