There is a new beef being roasted in the pot of two of Ghana’s established actresses; Yvonne Nelson and Nana Akua.

There is no gainsaying that the Ghana movie industry has plummeted and stakeholders simply do not have a clue as to how to resuscitate it. In fact what they do at best is to lament and brood over it without offering alternatives to remedy the situation.

And that’s exactly what Yvonne Nelson did. Right after the Golden Movie Award, she sent out lots of tweets revealing her disappointment with the dismal state our movie industry.

She was even more disappointed in the fact that actors in Ghana are only concerned with appearing glamorous on the right carpet instead of finding solutions to the existing problems.

Nana Akua who is well known for her lavish sense of fashion, as it were, took the issue personal and replied Yvonne Nelson with a sucker punch.

Nana Akua wrote:

RED CARPET is an industry called Fashion(SLAY) YES!!Either reinvent and help the industry grow or become a Commentator Technology is making video and content the future. The industry is for the TALENT.

TALENT will keep you relevant in the industry long LEGS may get weak with time. CHANGE is here if you can’t embrace it, join them “if you can’t beat them !!!!! IF slaying is not Working for you, have you tried running with those long legs? It’s called reinvent either way Ghana is winning My break time is up back to class…. #WomenInFilm#nanaatnewyorkfilmacademy”.
