I’m not surprised by the conduct of Ernest Opoku and Anita Afriyie because I have always maintained that some of these gospel musicians are fake, just like modern day pastors.
Ernest Opoku began the ‘war’ when he she criticised Anita for performing at the infamous Adonko Bash concert on Easter Monday at the Kumasi Sports Stadium. According to Ernest, her colleague musician is a hypocrite for agreeing to perform for an alcoholic company when that obviously violates Christian principles.
But in a quick rebuttal, Anita claims some male gospel musicians including Mr. Opoku who act holier than thou are ‘snakes under grass.’ She further said Ernest Opoku and his cohorts lack the moral right to criticize her.
She explained that, majority of the male gospel musicians engage in amorous relationship but “but pretend to be holier than Jesus Christ.” When asked to provide evidence to her allegation, she responded: “give me just two weeks and I will expose them.”
