The UK High Commissioner to Ghana, Harriet Thompson has named her favorite Ghanaian musician.
According to the beautiful diplomat, award-winning Ghanaian musician, Gregory Bortey Newman who is widely known as King Promise is her favorite musician.
She made this known in a yet-to-be-aired edition of The Probe on JoyNews and she indicated that she loves Ghanaian music and King Promise is her number one Ghanaian musician.
Revealing why she chose King Promise, she stated that they share the same birthday. In her submission, she answered a question about the Ghanaian musicians that she enjoys their music and she said;
“Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Gyakie, all of them. I have to say King Promise is a favorite because I recently discovered that he is my birthday twin.
I really enjoy the arts, and the fashion, it’s just so rich and energizing. I am terrible at words and names, but I am enjoying it.”
King Promise is a signee of Legacy Life Entertainment record Label and is known for several songs like Oh yeah, Selfish, and Tokyo among others.
Not long ago, he dropped his second studio album and it has really garnered a staggering number of streams on various music streaming platforms.
