The final funeral rites for the late actor and comedian Super OD has been scheduled for May 19, 2018 at Agona Abodom in the Central Region.
The septuagenarian battled with series of illness before he finally ‘surrendered’ to death at the Agona Swedru Government Hospital in the Central Region.
He will be laid in state on Friday 18th May, 2018. On the following day, the funeral rites will be held at Agona Abodom Funeral Grounds.
Report say there shall also be thanksgiving service at the Central Presbyterian Church at Agona Abodom on Sunday 20th May, 2018.
The late Super OD, was an integral part of local drama series popularly called Akan Drama in 1970s. Although he’s been in the industry for that long, he did not have anything to show for it due to the small remuneration he and his other colleague received during those days.
Super OD, real name Asonaba Kweku Darko was 84 and left behind 15 children.
