South African Master KG was the winner of the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ African Artist of the Year award.

Master KG won that category with his hit song Jerusalema, one of the few songs that went viral around the world in 2020.
He won the award beating notable and talented African artists like Davido, Omah Lay, Wizkid, among others to win his first VGMA award adding up to the numerous awards the song has won under the year of review.
Master KG was not around to accept the award but a representative was there on his behalf to accept the award.
