Ghanaian Hiplife/ Highlife sensational singer Kofi Kinaata pulled up an amazing performance at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (2021 VGMAs) getting a standing ovation from colleague musicians Kuami Eugene and Kidi.

The 22nd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards kicked off yesterday at the Accra International Conference Center with the industrial awards ceremony. Many top celebrities and musicians across the country gained at the event center to make it a successful one.

Kofi Kinaata yesterday during the course of the event made history by becoming the first artist to win the Songwriter of the year award on four occasions breaking his own record of winning the award back to back.

He is so far the most nominated artist in the Songwriter of the year category with 5 nominations and winning 4 out of the 5.

After making his, the ‘Fante Rap God’ took to arguably the biggest stage in Ghana music to pull up an electrifying live band performance thrilling fans and colleague musicians in the arena.

Kofi Kinaata after winning the Songwriter of the year award will now shift his attention to winning the other three categories he was nominated for including the Best Highlife Artiste of the year, Best Highlife Song of the Year, and the Best International Collaboration of the Year.
