Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) has cleared the air on why Stonebwoy got reinstated and Shatta Wale wasn’t after he was dragged for being a snitch and passing the back door to beg.
Most people were surprised to see Stonebowy nominated for VGMA23 and Shatta Wale wasn’t after their ban was lifted and some people reacting to that called the BHIM president a snitch for passing backdoor to beg Charterhouse to reinstate him.
A representative from Charterhouse speaking to Andy Dosty made it clear that Stonebwoy was reinstated because he showed interest in the scheme and gave his consent hence he got nominated but Shatta Wale on the other hand didn’t show any interest or commitment.

According to the representative, no artists or work of an artist can be used/nominated by the board without the consent of the artist or without the artist showing any interest in it and that is exactly what Stonebwoy did which got him nominated.
Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy both had the chance to join the VGMA by showing interest after their ban was lifted and Stonebwoy chose to join for reason best known to him while Shatta Wale chose not to hence there’s nothing like snitching here.
