A social media user has called out the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) for contracting Kurl Songs to perform Castro’s songs instead of Nero X and Afezi Perry.

During the event on Saturday, Sarkodie managed to pass through to thrill the audience with an electrifying performance as he pays tribute to his lost friend, Castro De Destroyer.
Whiles performing his popular song “Adonai” which features Castro, Kurl Songx was billed to perform Castro’s version of the song.
A tweep with the account name Alltymsgh lamented that the VGMA organizers could have paid Nero X or Afezi Perry to do that since their style of music is similar to that of the legend.

In other news, a 42-year-old chainsaw operator has reportedly been killed by a falling tree at Mampamwhe in the Obuasi East district.
Two of his colleagues gave a vivid account of the tragedy by saying that Mr. Adjei was hit by a tree which was broken by another tree he fell.
One of them, Emmanuel Nuamah told Adom News’ Isaac Normanyo that he saw the heavy tree descending, but he couldn’t alert his colleague as everything happened so swiftly.
