Popular Ghanaian singer who doubles as a rapper, Francisca Gawugah, well known in the music scene as Sista Afia was also billed to perform at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards last night.

The event which took place at the auditorium of the Dome in Accra had so many personalities from all aspects of the entertainment industry gracing the occasion with their presence.
Sista Afia stormed the stage with an amazing performance the entertain the audience. With a dramatic entrance to the stage, Sista Afia amazed her audience with entirely different energy while she performs some of her hit songs.
In an exclusive video available to ghgossip.com, Sista Afia got some of the audience on their feet when she started rapping Sarkodie’s verse on her Sika track featuring Kweku Flick.

In other news, the Producer of the Year at the VGMA, Richie Mensah has finally reacted to claims made by some industry players that he is a member of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA’s) board.
Speaking with Doreen Avio in an interview, Richie Mensah stated clearly that he is not a member of the board of the award scheme as speculated by some industry players.
According to him, he had only made one appearance on the board and that was in 2014 when no artiste on his record label was nominated in any of the categories. He added that his one-time appearance on the board made people presume that he is a member of the board.
