Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer Akwaboah has emerged as the winner of this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) highlife artist of the year.

The artist born Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr., known by his stage name Akwaboah Jnr has grabbed the award of the high life artist of the year.

Akwaboah who was in the category with artists like Cina Soul, Bisa K’dei, Fameye, Kuami Eugene, and Kofi Kinaata has expressed his appreciation to God and his fans for their support.

Akwaboah has a lot of songs to his name. Some of his songs include Obiaah, Posti me, Number one, hold me down, let me go, Ma san agye wu, I still love you and many others.
