The vice president of Ghana, Dr. Alhaji Muhamadu Bawumia has cast his vote in the peaceful ongoing election which started today.

Dr Bawumia travelled to Kperiga Primary Polling station A, Walewale in the North East region to cast his vote in the presidential and parliamentary elections. He

Shortly after exercising his right, the Vice President addressed the media on the uniqueness of the elections and the serene atmosphere. He spoke highly of the COVID-19 protocols which have been duly followed by the EC and the electorates.

According to him, Ghana is a peaceful country and that will be proven again in this year’s election.

“Ghana is the most peaceful country in West Africa and this election we want to maintain that reputation. We want to exercise this franchise in peace”.
