A 54-year-old businessman identified as Nana Yaw Manti has reportedly poured acid on his 18-year-old girlfriend and her mother in their home.
The sad event which occurred at Awukugua in the Eastern was reported on United Television. According to the reports on UTV, the suspect, Nana Yaw Manti in the past year released the s3x tapes and nude photos of the 18-year-old girl which went viral in their community.

The reason for his actions are not known yet, however, after the businessman released the sex tape of the young girl into the public domain, the mother and her daughter lodged a complaint at the Koforidua Police Station where he was made to pay a sum of GHc1,000 at Kofidua court A for damages and GHc1,000 as charges.
However, it appears the businessman was unhappy about the situation, hence devised a plot to take his revenge on the family. Further reports from UTV say Yaw Manti pour acid on the 18-year-old and her mother after they finished taking their baths.
The victims were then rushed to the Komfo Anokye hospital where they are receiving treatment. The suspect has however been arrested after he tried to escape after his acts.
