Gh anaian Dancehall Maestro, Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, well known as Epixode has reached another milestone in his music career after he emerged as the Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year for the first time at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Epixode gave an electrifying performance at the VGMA as a tribute to the late Statesman, Jerry John Rawlings.
Later, he managed to beat Samini, Ras Kuuku, Kaphun and Larruso in winning in that category. However. a section of Ghanaians believes that he does not deserve it.
This comes after Epixode bragged about the fact that he is not the “King of Dancehall” following his big win at the VGMA’s.
Others believe that the absence of the two frontrunners of Dancehall in Ghana, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy gave the VGMA board no other choice to settle for Epixode.
Others also believe that Epixode has not worked hard enough to be given such recognition but since he has been given the opportunity, he needs to work harder to maintain his status.
Well, in a video Epixode shared on his Instagram, one of his favorite aunties as he described has sent her congratulatory message to him after he won the prestigious award.
In his caption, he wrote; Blessings from home .. message from my fav auntie .. she said KONKRALATION 😂.. it’s the powder for me .. big win for where I come from .. love u guys #VeryGoodBadBoys
