VIDEO: Sarkodie Re-branded Himself As A New Artist In 2020- Says Tilly Akua Nipaa

Media personality Tilly Akua Nipaa has revealed that top Ghanaian Hiplife/ Hip Hop rapper Sarkodie re-branded himself as a new artist in 2020.

Shes stated that in the rapper’s attempt to still stay relevant and on top of the music industry, Sarkodie reintroduced himself as a new emerging artist to Ghanaians and the whole world with his posts on his various social media platforms.

This comes after the rapper was accused of taking the shine out of young and talented rappers by ‘robbing’ them of their ‘luck’.

Recall Sarkodie over the years has been accused of killing the shine of young and talented rappers who choose to follow him when they achieve a little shine in the music industry with many citing Strongman as a typical example.

About two days ago, an audio of an alleged spiritualist cautioning the management of fast rising rapper Yaw Tog not to work with Sarkodie hit the internet and the media space. The spiritualist alleged that Sarkodie will take Yaw Tog’s luck for 5 years if he works with him and he is not spiritually strong.

Speaking on Accra based Zylofon FM, Tilly said Sarkodie doesn’t take the luck of young and talented rappers but rather, works hard on himself to stay on top of the ‘game’. She added the rapper as big as he is in 2020 rebranded himself as a new artist coming up, something you don’t see more often from top artists.

She stated that Sarkodie doesn’t need to release many music videos into the air space because almost every music lover in Ghanaian knows him but to sweep more audience to his side, he makes sure he releases music videos for almost every hit song he drops.
