Recently departed American mother of one, Alexis. Alexis Morales was described as having black hair, brown eyes, and a height of 5 feet 6 inches, and 160 pounds.
Her child, Messiah Morales, is around 24 inches long, weighs 30 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair.
A week ago in South Bend, Alexis and Messiah Morales were last seen at roughly six o’clock. On Monday, a state-wide Silver Alert was issued in relation to their disappearances.
According to the alert, the couple was last seen driving a silver 2006 BMW X5 SUV with the Indiana license plate MULALUV. She passed away when she was 27 years old.

Her close friends and family were alarmed when the authorities declared her death to be a homicide.

New information about the death of the missing 27-year-old Elkhart County resident discovered dead in South Bend last month is revealed by Alexis Morales’ autopsy. South Bend Police claim that a gunshot wound was found during the autopsy on Morales.
As police await the formal Coroner’s report, it is still unknown if it was the cause of death. Messiah, a 5-month-old baby, and Morales were reported missing on April 13. On April 18, a Silver Alert was released.
At 6:00 p.m., her body was discovered in her car. In the 400 block of South Bendix on April 19. The body of Alexis was discovered inside the car. Messiah was brought to a medical facility.
On April 20, police disclosed that they were looking into her death as a possible homicide.
Family and friends gathered to honor the life of Alexis Morales
On Thursday night, Alexis Morales’ loved ones gathered at Kelly Park in South Bend to celebrate and commemorate her life. Along with family, friends, and the community, Alexis’ supporters released balloons and lighted candles as they gave heartfelt testimonials in her honor.
“She made sure everybody around her was great, especially her baby, and I just wanted you guys to not allow all this drama and these speculations to overshadow the real reason why everybody is gathering, and that’s to get justice for my sister,” said Jada Morales, Alexis’ sister.
Families and friends of Alexis are still pleading with the public for information that could shed light on what happened to her and her 5-month-old baby Messiah, who is now recovering in a hospital.
