The Super Eagles of Nigeria saw their hopes of making it to the knockout stage of the ongoing World Cup fizzled out by an inspired Argentina team spearheaded by the magical Lionel Messi.
The match was full of drama as the Nigerians felt they should have been awarded a penalty kick in the course of the game. Right after the game, the dejected players sunk onto the turf as thousands thoughts danced in their skulls.
However, it appeared nothing of that sort mattered to one of the reserved goalkeepers, Ikechuku Ezenwa, than Messi’s jersey.

The shot-stopper was thus spotted in a video begging Lionel Messi for his jersey after they were defeated by Argentina yesterday.
Ezenwa waited for the Barcelona superstar at the entrance of the stadium tunnel, before he approached him to ask for his jersey and the Argentina star took it off and gave it to him.
