According to Boss of Hitz FM Mark Okraku-Mantey, Shatta Wale became extremely popular after Kwaw Kese went to jail.
To Mark, when Kwaw Kese left for jail, Shatta Wale quickly looked sharp and took over the street. Don’t forget Kwaw Kese used to call himself the ‘King of the streets’ back then.
He added that when Kwaw Kese was back from jail, he lost touch with his fans, even his rap started sounding some kind way, and again, Shatta Wale made sure he strategically took over from him. He disclosed this and more in an interview with Andy Dosty on Friday morning.
