A member of the evergreen music trio VVIP, Reggie Rockstone has said he and the other members of the group are not under any pressure to release new songs because they are not desperate.

The Hiplife Grandpapa as he’s affectionately called said they understand the concept of the group hence the fact they have not released a new song in almost five years does not mean they are fizzling out. He shared this sentiment in a new interview with Graphic Showbiz.

“Members of VVIP were ‘elders’ and not under pressure to release a song to prove their worth. We are not young artistes now clamouring for attention or fame. Besides, for the four years or so we were together, we proved to Ghanaians that when you have it, you have it and our records within the period proved that.

It was a moment of an amazing display of humility where two brands came together so we are not under pressure at all. We are elders in the game and don’t need to prove a point to anyone so we are giving the young ones the chance to show their potential as well,” he stated.

Reggie Rockstone joined the group in 2013 after Promzy parted ways with the group. His inclusion into the group formed as far back as 1995 was then renamed VVIP.
