Songstress Mzbel has reacted to criticism about Tonardo’s meet and greet, saying they didn’t charge a gate fee because they’re broke but to curb the rate at which people will flood the place.
Some people were criticizing Tonardo and Mzbel for taking money from people for his meet and greet and she reacted to that by saying they did that because they didn’t want a lot of people to be there since the venue isn’t that big.
Speaking about the number of people that were there, Mzbel said people came when the program was going to end but the videos circulating online is when the event started, and moreover if people didn’t come, they had fun and that’s all that mattered.
According to Mzbel, it was her idea to celebrate Tonardo on his birthday with his fans, and then she suggested that they take 50gh so that she won’t run at a loss if something is spoilt over there and also to curb the number of people that will make it to the event.
