Ex-Doe, the singer behind ‘Daavi Mede Kuku,’ has blamed Ghana’s authorities for the country’s hardships, despite the country’s abundant natural resources.

Ex Doe, speaking to Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, claimed most of the current leaders are blockheads and should be flogged significantly.

“We have gold, we have timber, we have bauxite, aluminum, cocoa, and yet we are suffering in this country this means our leaders are blockheads.

“We ought to line up all our leaders and give them some serious strokes of canes…that is all our past leaders with the exception of Kwame Nkrumah.

“We have to lock up all our current leaders in prison for them to know that they came to only enrich themselves and have mismanaged our resources,” he said

The majority of Ghanaians continue to bemoan the country’s deteriorating economic status, which includes rising fuel prices, exchange rates, and commodities prices.

Again, veteran Ghanaian artist Richard Kwasi Siaw Akrofi popularly known as Ex- Doe has said he will never support artists in the music industry to beef with each other.

One of the activities that make most artists popular and also sell out their talent is by beefing each other either lyrically or on social media. A lot of artists have clashed on social media and also using diss songs to beef with each other in the past years.

During an interview on Kastle FM, the “Daavi Mede Kuku” hitmaker expressed his dislike for beefing but also agreed that beef is also part of the rap genre. One of the popular beef that took place in the 90s was the beef between Ex-Doe and artist Chicago.

Rapper Chicago and Ex-Doe clashed some years back after the rapper claimed he wrote the lyrics of Ex-Doe’s breakout ‘Daavi Mede Kuku’. In anger, he recorded ‘Maba’ as a Chicago diss, which set of their beef. However, after many years, Ex-Doe revealed that he regrets beefing Chicago.

Speaking to Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM, Ex-Doe said, “to me, I don’t really like beefing and I will never support beefing in the music industry but as a rap artist, it’s part of the genre.”

“Most people miss the difference between a battle and dissing because diss is the short form of disrespect as being used in abroad by most rappers. So disrespect has been slang as diss but battle is not about using insulting or abusive words but rather creative punchlines and that’s allowed in our game”, he explained.
