Ace Ghanaian reggae/dancehall musician, Emmanuel Andrew Sammini, widely known as Samini has called on his fellow NPP Supporters to start criticizing the president over his bad governance.

One of the celebrities who endorsed and campaigned for the ruling NPP was dancehall artiste Samini. He was seen on different platforms campaigning for Nana Addo during the 2020 elections.

It appears the artist is not happy about how the government is ruling the country following the recent economic crisis that has led to the increment in fuel prices and other commodities in the country. A lot of people have lambasted celebrities who endorsed the ruling government.

Following the criticism on social media, Samini has come out to express his disappointment in the president. He also said that it’s high time supporters come out to join the conversation in fixing the country.

“I think it is time those of us who stuck our noses out for the president @NAkufoAddo to visit him and have a dialogue with him and tell him things aren’t going well,” Samini said during a Twitter Space on June 14.

I think it will make sense to have an audience with the President to be able to let him hear what is on the ground and what is actually happening on the ground,” he stated. 

“I will advise the youth to go into agriculture, I’ve done it and I know it pays, so for now I’d ask anyone who has the land to go into it whilst waiting for another opportunity to open”, he added.
