Farmer John, a farmer, politician and actor has shared an interesting intuition about the Ghana Education system.

He focused his tweet on the wide gap between Academia and the business community where a number of research works haven’t been pursued to bring something substantial to the country.

He urged the universities in Ghana to visit these shelves with several untouched research works and start transforming them into massive industries.

He tweeted;

We need to bridge the gap between Academia and the business community. The number of research work done and are sitting on the shelves of various Gh Universities is appalling. We need to get them off the shelves and turn them into massive industries.

Not long ago, he also asserted that the entire Ghanaian education system needs a complete overhaul.

The renowned and award-winning personality made this known in a recent post that he made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

According to him, the system is a flawed one because it is designed to make the student look for jobs after school.

He suggested that it is should be the case adding that the system should shift from the current system and this will greatly benefit the student.

The post that he made reads;

“Our entire Gh educational system needs complete overhaul. It is designed to make you look for jobs after school. What about creating jobs after school? We should shift from passing the subjects to look for jobs to understanding the subjects to create jobs….”
