Ghanaian United Kingdom-based Afrobeats singer and philanthropist Nana Richard Abiona better known in Showbiz as Fuse ODG has waded into a Ghanaian artist winning a Grammy award saga.

According to the top Afrobeats singer, he doesn’t understand why most Ghanaians and music lovers, and even some artists in the Ghanaian music industry are so focused on winning a Grammy award.
An award that came under so many controversies and disrespects when controversial American rapper and business mogul Kanye West posted a video of himself on the internet and on social media urinating on his Grammy awards trophies.
Recall people begin to questions Kanye West’s actions and state of mind a couple of months ago after the video of him taking a piss on his Grammy Aw ards trophies went viral on the internet and on social media as many felt it was a total disrespect to the biggest music awards scheme in the world.
Reacting to a question posed to him by the host of the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show, renowned on-air personality and disc jockey Andy Dosty on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM on his takes on Ghanaian artists failing to make it to the Grammys, Fuse stated he doesn’t cherish the Grammys and other awards so much.
He stated that Kanye pissing on the awards shows how people can’t judge artists all because they haven’t been able to win a Grammy award. He continued that there are more important things artists and Ghanaians should focus their attention on rather than concentrating on winning an award Kanye pissed on.
Fuse ODG had earlier stated that Ghana is way above the Grammy Awards as it’s a man-made thing just to the ‘white’ to claim supremacy over the ‘black people’.
