A shooting incident that occurred on the campus of the University of Virginia in the United States of America was said to have claimed three lives and wounded two people.

The suspect of the incident, Christopher Darnell Jones Jr. was said to have opened fire on his own classmates on a charter bus near a parking garage that had returned to campus from a class field trip to Washington, D.C.

The victims of the hideous crime have been identified as as Devin Chandler of Virginia Beach, Lavel “Tyler” Davis of South Carolina and D’Sean Perry of Miami. Two other people were injured in the process and one is said to be in a critical condition as of Monday afternoon.

Darnell is facing multiple charges, including second-degree murder and per further reports from the police, he has been on Police Radar since September.

The incident has left a lot of students at UVA and residence in Virginia completely puzzled as they ponder on why the young man decided to claim the lives of his mates in such a gruesome manner.
