Singer cum songwriter Kofi Kinaata has taken us to the classroom to educate us on music saying a song that is popular to us isn’t necessarily the best out there and it came the time most people are accusing Grammy of cheating Wizkid.
Most fans of Wizkid are accusing the Recording Academy of cheating their favorite Wizkid by rewarding Angelique Kidjo for doing a good job on her album Mother Nature when Wizkid’s Essence is all over the world.
Most people felt that since Wizkid’s Essence is more popular than Angelique Kidjo’s Mother Nature, it’s supposed to win but Kofi Kinaata has made us understand that what/a song that is popular to us isn’t necessarily the best out there.

According to Kofi Kinaata, music isn’t what we only listen to as it goes beyond that hence what is popular to most of us isn’t necessarily the best out there and that explains why Mother Nature was chosen over Essence since it talks about Climate Change.
Kofi Kinaata’s post makes us understand better that Wizkid’s song might be popular across the globe but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best out there even though it sounds like a shade to Wizkid.
