The comic actor appealed to the President and his administration to fulfill his promise to the creative arts industry in NPP’s manifesto to build regional theatres in the country.

The comedian reaffirmed the worries that one of the issues impeding the expansion of the sector is the lack of theatres in the regions, particularly when it comes to securing locations for film premieres and stage performances.

Speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Clemento Suarez sounded the clarion call about how the lack of theatres in the regions in the country has affected the creative arts industry since the promise made by the President was never fulfilled.

He claims that although the current NPP government promised to develop regional theaters in their 2016 manifesto, little has been accomplished to yet.

In other news, popular Ghanaian comedian, OB Amponsah has taken to his social media to highlight on some qualities ladies should look out for before agreeing to settle down with any man.

According to OB Amponsah, any man who is capable of purchasing fuel for his car and moves around to fulfill his duties every week without complaining needs to be appreciated and needs to be kept for marriage.

In his submissions, OB Amponsah means to say that due to the current woes of the economy, financial retardation, and inflation in the country, any man who is able to cope with such situations is obviously what many would describe as “husband material”.

He added that regardless of the type of car that the man drives, he needs to be acknowledged and should be the option when any woman plans of settling down with a man.
