Addi Self, a member of the famous Shatta Movement headed by Shatta Wale has asked rhetorically why the annual Ghana Meets Naija is not hosted in Nigeria to ensure a balance to underline the objective of the show.
The Ghana Meets Naija concert which is powered by Bola Ray’s Empire Entertainment, is an annual concert which is aimed at celebrating, uniting and exploring the different yet similar musical tastes, cultures and artistes of both Ghana and Nigeria.
However, Addi Self born Jafaro Mohammed expressed his disappointment with the fact that Ghana has has been hosting the event since its inception without any reciprocal event in Nigeria that will also see Ghanaian artistes play as guest to the Nigerian counterparts in Nigeria.
Addi Self believes there should equally be a Nigeria Meets Ghana held in Nigeria to illustrate the true meaning of the show. He posted this on his wall on social media.
