Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur has stated that Ghanaians are homophobic and has given his reasons why this is so.

According to him, Ghanaian leaders in Ghana are already “chopping” the ass of citizens. Recall that Ghossip had reported that some Parliamentarians as well as Sam George have filled a bill that will hinder the rights of members of the LGBTQI+.

This bill is yet to be passed by government. Not long ago, the billboards of the group were taken down.

Kwesi Arthur took to the bird app on Saturday, June 18 to tweet that Ghanaians have witnessed how the leaders are “chopping” their ass which account for the many reasons why most of them don’t like these gay people.

He wrote on Twitter “wanna leaders dey chop wanna ass already. that’s probably why most of we be homophobic”.

In other news, Kwesi Arthur recently revealed why he doesn’t charge for features.

Kwesi Arthur told the host AJ Mensah on Kumasi-based Y 102.5 FM that a lot of the artists he featured on their songs did not have the means to pay him. He disclosed that he was not bothered because he understood the struggle in the industry because of the experience he had some time back.

“Most of the guys we put on did not have money or were not financially stable as at the time they requested for features and I understand them because I was once like them. When I started music, I did not pay every artiste for a feature, If I did, I would probably not be where I am now”, he said.
