Ghanaian musician, Ridwan Abdul Rafiu who is widely known as Larruso has revealed why he switched from doing dancehall.

The young and talented musician made this known in a recent submission he made on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM.

In the interview, he spoke about how the dancehall genre is not getting the needed attention in Ghana like it used to be being the reason for his switch.

“Dancehall is not getting the attention like before so I decided to switch to something else. I also think people are now exposed to new sounds.

I love the Amapiano genre so much. Jahdon picked me from the streets and managed me. Things were hard at the beginning of my career.”

The young musician has dropped some lovely tunes for music lovers since the start of his career and some of the songs are Over Dem, Carolina, Send Dem, Hit & Run, Yaaro, and The Truth (featuring M.anifest).
