Former Rufftown Records signed musician, Francine Kouffie, widely known in the music scene as Fantana has recently added food business to her music business.

The singer currently own an Ivorian restaurant located at East Legon opposite Cocovanilla. She recently launched the grand opening of the restaurant she claims to have named it after her grandmother.

Speaking with the lifestyle & celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Fantana revealed that food business is generally a good venture and she noticed that there are not many Ivorian restaurants in the country, hence she decided to open one.

The restaurant named “Acheke Manza” owned by Fantana aims are pleasing Ghanaians with delicious Ivorian dishes and cuisines. Fantana who has been off the music scene for a while now added that she plans on opening more branches if the business goes well.

In other news, Ghanaian rapper, Amerado has disagreed with the assertions made by the ace Ghanaian rapper, Okyeame Kwame that the new school of rap artistes in Ghana are far better than rappers of his era.

The “Rap Doctor” in an interview with Joy Prime‘s Ibrahim Ben-Bako at the Grand Cassamora hotel at Adjiriganor stated that that rappers of the new era are being pushed to [olish their craft to become more creative, entertaining, and exciting.

According to Okyeame Kwame, his generation only had a small number of rappers, but as time went on, interest in rap music grew, and more rappers entered the scene.

“When we started rap, there were just a few rappers – Bright of Buk Bak, Exdoe, Chicago, Reggie Rockstone, VIP, and Obrafour. We were just a few. Now, everyone knows how to rap and the world has become so small through the internet,” Okyeame Kwame said.

“These guys are standing on the shoulders of giants like Reggie Rockstone, Lord Kenya; what people don’t know is these young rappers are way better than us. Kwame Yogot and the rest they are much much better than us“, he added.
