Looking at how dancehall sensation Derrick Obuobi Jnr known on stage as J Derobie’s Poverty made waves, it came as a shock when the artist had no nomination for it in this years VGMAs.

He has explained that it is not because the song is not nice or lit enough but because it was released just this year thus January 11th which means it cannot fall under this year’s awards.
Jerobie says he is hopeful and in the coming years, he is going to sweep them all.
