Nigeria’s finest, Wizkid took to twitter to express his dissatisfaction on the way and manner Ghanaian DJ’s play more of Nigerian songs in the clubs, parties and on radio in Ghana instead of playing Ghanaian songs.
He is the second Naija artiste to complain about the takeover of Naigerian music in the Ghanaian airwaves.
He tweeted:
” Naija music is being played more than Ghana music in Ghana ??, This must stop in 2020.
The only Naija songs that should have such rotations are songs that features a Ghanaian . Every must balance well in 2020 “
He added that if a Ghanaian artiste said what he said, he knows he would be crucified and fed to the gods, so he being a ” real Naija artiste ” as Shatta Wale describes him, he will say it as it is.
The big question here is, is Ghanaian music industry weak or the DJ’s are sabotaging Ghana music?
