The woman holding the Guinness world record for having the longest fingernails has finally cut off her nails.

The US-based lady whose name is Ayanna Williams and lives in Houston, Texas became a worldwide name when she was named the Guinness World Record holder for the world’s longest finger nails in 2017.

At that time, her fingernails measured nearly 19 feet long and she revealed that she hasn’t cut these nails for three decades.

Well, it seems she is tired as she took them off over the weekend and prior to her cutting these ‘devil-like’ nails, they measured was 24 ft, 0.7 in.

Per reports, she used about three to four bottles of nail polish and over 20 hours to do her manicure before these nails were finally cut off. She got rid of the named at a dermatology office in Fort Worth, Texas.

In her submission, she said;

“With or without my nails, I will still be the queen. My nails don’t make me, I make my nails!”

She, however, revealed plans to only grow her nails about six inches, and this is according to a report by Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, which will display her trimmed nails at its museum in Orlando, Florida.

Prior to her cutting the nails, Williams was unable to do some activities, such as washing the dishes and putting sheets on a bed and according to her, her new goal is to encourage the next history-making nail enthusiast to go for a Guinness World Records title.
