On New Year’s Day, a 23 year old woman who was walking with her friends fell to the ground with blood all over her face near a taxi rank.
The Kwanokuthula police in South Africa have opened a murder docket following the death of the young woman that happened in the area in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
She was rushed to the Knysna Provincial Hospital for medical attention, but was declared dead on arrival.
Investigation revealed that she sustained a gunshot wound in the head at the time of her death. The incident is under investigation and all leads are being followed up.
