It would be recalled that Wendy Shay thrilled the attendees of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards with an intimating performance in which she dedicated one of her songs to the late Nigerian gospel musician, Osinachi Nwachukwu.

Well, it appears that some Ghanaians were not pleased with her performance, and in response, she has clapped back at them as she explains why some parts of her performance flopped.

According to the ‘Heat” crooner, there was a technical hitch from her band while she was performing on stage but she still managed to sail through with an extraordinary performance at the end of the show.

She also lamented about the fact that even with her amazing performance and vocals at the VGMAs, some unscrupulous people are still hating her over what she would describe as a top-notch performance, adding that Ghanaians should humble themselves for her to take them to the ultimate Grammys.

She wrote; Obviously there was a technical hitch from my band..I pulled thru with a Thrilling Top Notch performance at the just ended VGMA’s,..Vocals, Choreo, Costume, all on POINT! yet we had some ppl still hating ..so won’t U people humble Urself so I take U to the Grammys! Ghana wake up!
