Yaa Pono aka Ponobiom, who has often been trolled for his lack of awards despite his huge potential, won the Best Rapper of The Year award at the third edition of the the Ghana Music Awards UK which was held at Marysman Palace (Dominion Center) yesterday Oct. 6.
The Tema-based rapper also won the Best Collaboration Of The Year with his Obia Wone Master song which featured Stonebwoy.
The likes of Patapaa, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Ayesem and a host of others put up a splendid performance to thrill thousands of patrons who thronged to the venue.
The annual event, which is in its third year, is an occasion designed to celebrate Ghanaian musicians for their diverse contribution to the art and entertainment industry.
