Popular Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney, affectionately known as DKB has described himself as neutral when it comes to politics, hence no one should ever align him to any political party just because of his sentiments on critical issues in the country.

According to the comedian, he has always expressed his frustrations on issues bothering the country and not for political reasons. He stated that he berated the NDC government during the continuous power outages in the country (dumsor).

He further revealed that he joined the #FixTheCountry campaign because he wanted to call the NPP government to order in order to have them fix the country but he has never had any affiliations with any political party.

As a result, anyone who believes he’s afraid to speak out is mistaken, because he’s apolitical, accusing the individual who sought to identify him with a political party of being irredeemably dumb and warning that no one should ever align him with a political party.

He wrote on Twitter; I did dumsor vigil in NDC era cos it was bothering me. I did fix the country demo in this NPP era cos I wanted the country fixed. I’m very apolitical, So if U think I’m scared of speaking out.. U are incorrigibly stupid! Don’t ever align me political parties! Kwasia banku!
