Ghanaian actress and social commentator Lydia Forson has reacted to the GHc5 Ghanaians will have to pay when registering on the SIM Card registration app introduced.
It would be recalled that the minister for communications, Ursula Owusu a few days ago extended the registration of SIM cards and also announced a newly developed app for the registration of the SIM cards which will attract GHC5.

Reacting to the new development, Lydia Forson has jabbed the communications minister Ursual Owusu for allowing Ghanaians to go through frustrations before introducing an App for the sim re-registration.
Lydia Forson disclosed in her tweets that she will be surprised if the development of the app to charge Ghanaians GHc5 was all planned.
She tweeted, “You waited at the very last minute, watching people panic, in despair and frustrated in long queues to announce an extension you knew full well you were going to give; and an app( for GH5) you already had in motion. No one can tell me this wasn’t the plan all along.”
