Nigerians have woken up to the shock of their lives after the news of an 18-year-old boy who killed a 36-year-old woman after resisting his attempt to rape her.
According to reports, the suspect who has been arrested by the police has been identified as Volamu Kalbes, an 18-year-old boy in Adamawa State for allegedly k!lling a woman and her 1-year-old child after an attempt to r@pe her.

The Police commander of Adamawa, Suleiman Nguroje the suspect, Volamu also killed the child of the woman after killing the mother in an attempt to rape her. The incident is said to have occurred at a river where the woman went to take her bath with her infant baby where Volamu attacked them.
The statement from the police read, “The Command, on Monday, June 6, apprehended an 18-year-old man, Volamu Kalbes for the alleged murder of a 36-year-old woman, Talatu Usman, and her one-year-old child in Lamurde Local Government Area.”

The statement further explained that the Police Command disclosed that the victims were residents of Sabon Layi village. The suspect attacked the victim at the riverside where she resisted and fought back but to no avail, as he overpowered her and pressed her down into the water where she died.
After killing the woman, the suspect took the child and forcefully pressed him into the river till he died water until he became lif£less,” the statement read. It noted that the suspect was arrested following a report received from the victim’s husband, Alhaji Usman Abdul.
