Lagos State National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport has ceased huge grams of cocaine.
According to agency, the hard drug suspected to be cocaine was impounded at the arrival of the suspect when it was imported into the country.
The cocaine weighed 16.65 kilograms which is worth billions of naira.
The suspect was arrested on Wednesday, October 28 2020 upon their arrival from Sao Paul, Brazil.
The two suspects Okwubunne Chidiebere Simeon and Aniakar Uchenna James were carrying 10.40kgs and 6.25kg respectively.
The cocaine was packed in tins and 8 children’s duvet which contains 7 absorbent towels which is worth N135,000 per gram at street price and all total could be around N2bn.
