In 2013, Nigerian rapper Ice Prince was appointed as an ambassador for NASCOM”s (Nigeria Academicals Sports Committee) Rhythm N’ Play initiative.

The rapper launched the initiative by himself together with former Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja and London. The campaign was aimed at enhancing mass youth participation in sporting activities as well as promote grassroots sports in Nigeria.
