Nollywood actor, Walter Anga has cried out on social media over the expensive cost of living in Nigeria as price of food stuffs have increased affecting the price of sachet water as its price is now 20 naira.
Taking to his Instagram page, Walter Anga quizzed what is left for the ordinary man who can barely afford to pay his rent for his apartment and N2000 units of electricity.
According to the Tourism Ambassador for Rivers State, a time will come where the poor will feed from the rich by force due to the worsening state of the economy.
Sharing a photo of himself holding a sachet of water, he wrote;
“A sachet of pure water is now #20…What is left for a common man? When he can’t afford to buy 2k units for electricity in a month talkless of him paying his house rent @150k annually and minimum wage is #30k. Time dey come when the poor will feed from the rich by fire by force”
